Kevin Smith injury

I have not been able to find anything except a quote saying "it looked like a significant injury" I am not saying Kevin Smith is going to be a stud this year but I really need him as a solid #2 RB and this week he would have been my #1 due to the Turner bye week.

Crossing my fingers that he was out due to precautionary reasons and not a seperated shoulder or worse !!!

No definitive information yet, but this sounds encouraging:

That's sounds kind of promising. I'll breathe easier when the Lions reveal the results of the MRI.

Frank Gore is my #1 RB, so loosing Smith would be piling on right now. Luckily Benson has come back to life, or I'd be up the creek.

In a similar situation with Gore my #1, DWill on bye & Smith my only other option in week 4.
