BeeR
Surprising me: AZ's O not getting untracked L White being mostly invisible (maybe he needs to go back to tubby?) Sanchez and Jets doing so well (so far) Stv Jackson not hurt yet Skins' pathetic O (esp Portis) - didn't expect greatness but yikes Ram's OL. Yeah I know, but I thought the moves they made would make at least somewhat of a diff SF (generally) - looking like a real team, go figure Favre not sucking Julius Jones not sucking (that's borderline shocking) Forte really sucking Cincy 2-1 One of the best Ds around so far belongs to......Denver Delhomme looking even worse than last year (not shocked but still) Brady/NE looking mortal Avery totally invisible Coles mostly invisible (showed signs of life finally yesterday) BUF is not totally pathetic Not surprising me (beyond the really obvious, like CLE O sucking or Peterson looking good) ATL is legit, again LJ blows Hill is a decent QB BAL is RBBC, again Mason is still a legit WR Hester is not a legit WR TJ Housh was overrated So was McFadden Rodgers and Rivers were auction draft steal, according to avg winning bids anyway (and in fact probably Warner too despite slow start) DeS Jackson is a legit stud WR Edited September 28, 2009 by BeeR
Pkillebr
Surprised Denver's defense Cinci isn't 0-3 Joe Flacco's production Not Surprised Tom Brady is mortal Tampa is 0-
missilemike
Not surprising me (beyond the really obvious, like CLE O sucking or Peterson looking good)Hester is not a legit WR Hester not a legit WR? Really? I was going to put "Hester IS a legit WR" in my surprising list. He is running real routes and making nice grabs so far this year. In my league, he ranks 15th among all wide receivers. He's tied for leading the bears in # of catches and first in yardage. As for LJ blowing, that is dead on
Thews40
Denver is 3-0 and has 16 PA Detroit won a game The Redskins coach still has a job Favre still has the magic Al Davis is still making decisions The Jets are 3-

BeeR
Hester not a legit WR? Really? I was going to put "Hester IS a legit WR" in my surprising list. He is running real routes and making nice grabs so far this year. My bad then. What I saw of him (I admit limited) he wasn't doing much of anything, and hasn't produced much, altho there is fault to go around there. DBunting
Biggest suprise: Cinncinnati looking legit, Flacco doesn't appear to have been a fluke, Ochocinco hasn't changed his name to TwitterKing Not suprising: New England looks mortal, every dynasty ends at some point, maybe 2 more years left in them. myhousekey
Saints leading the league in points scored with 120 = not suprising The Ravens with the 2nd most points scored with 103 = suprising.
bankerboy
Cedric Benson.
Kid Cid
Somewhat surprising The Giants WRs lighting things up. Not surprising Brady needing time to completely return to form. SF becoming a solid team. Mike Singletary was a super choice for that team. Gave them a toughness they haven't had in a while.
slinger
Cedric Benson. x2 for Cedric Benson I picked him up late last year due to my RB situation in such disarray. I'm in a keeper league, despite my disappointment for him throughout the years, I held on to him as one of my keepers this year. Through three weeks, It's a borderline genius move and I'm stunned the gamble has paid off so far. There is still more football to play, but wow.... NAUgrad
Benson and J. Jones for me. I'm still not completely ready to say both are great, but both seem to be getting better every week. I don't think J. Jones is an every week starter, but is a great spot filler depending on the matchup. Benson, on the other hand is a little better than I initially thought. Kept him in a keeper for almost nothing and he's proving to be worth the investment.
Perchoutofwater
Surprises Jets / Sanchez doing so well - I thought they'd struggle with Sanchez learning Favre - I didn't doubt his arm, but his ability/patience to learn a new system Kevin Smith - He just wasn't that impressive in his rookie campaign, but he has been very good so far this year. Denver undefeated at this point - even thought they've played powder puffs. Jamaal Charles - I really thought he would be even more involved. Not Surprised Benson - I've watched enough UT football to know the guy is the real deal. Yes he's a head case, but he has serious talent. Housh - He's a great number 2. London Fletcher - I knew he still had a little bit left in the tank. Ricky Williams - He was available much later than he should have been in most leagues
flemingd
Surprised McGahee's apparant return to promise. Cedric Benson. Didn't think he or CIN had it in them. Ryan Grant - thought he would be far more productive, especially early on. Ocho Cinco - thought he was way overrated, even with a modest ADP. Percy Harvin. Might have me re-thinking my boycott of rookie WR. Not surprised Flacco - I have a massive man crush on him. Portis - I had him in the McGahee category pre-draft. Dallas Clark - I had him #1 TE preseason and cried like a bitch when he was taken two picks ahead of me in the 4th. Slaton Vincent Jackson. More tears in the 4th as he was picked right after Clark. Jacobs - wasn't all that high on him and he hasn't looked good. Drafted him anyway of couse Burleson - had him high on my value/sleeper list. Failed to pull the trigger Housh - hands off. Anything Cleveland or Oakland. JaMarcus Russell - yes I know I mentioned anything Oakland but as a Raiders fan this deserves special pointing out. To think we could have drafted Calvin Johnson with that pick and Flacco the next year.
matt770
Definitely thought Brady/Moss would pick up where they left off in '07, but I think it is too early to give them up for dead. The Giants WR situation is looking much better than I expected. Smith is lights out. I thought it would take T.O. a little bit longer to begin sabotaging the Bills, though in hindsight there wasn't much built up for him to tear down anyway. I thought Denver and Cincy would be complete joke franchises this year. I thought Baltimore would still play second fiddle to the Steelers, and their D would lose a step after Ryan and Bart Scott left. I am not surprised that the Giants beat Dallas. The Cardinals are who I thought they were. I didn't think Houshmandzadeh would be as good with the Seahawks. I knew Atlanta would be good again. I expected Westbrook to miss some time and for McCoy to come in and look really good. I also predicted DeSean Jackson would be a top WR. BeeR
How could I forget Benson, McGhee, and Clark. I was targeting Clark big-time, but so was the guy 2 spots in front of me
