heehawks
Curious what you all think about Steve Smith's value if Eli sits this week? Will there be a big drop off in targets? Will they run more? Thought I should start a thread considering Eli's foot problem.
MrTed46
I wouldnt be worried. Carr is a good backup and I think Eli will play

yo mama
I wouldnt be worried. Carr is a good backup and I think Eli will play When has he ever be good at a pro level? And while the game score may have dictated the play calling, its worth noting that Steven Smith caught exactly zero passes once Eli Manning left last weeks game. Just sayin'. MTSuper7
If this plantar fascia thing will linger all year for Eli, it makes me wonder if now isn't the time to try to deal Steve Smith. His value can't get any higher at the moment.

I'm not saying he is going to take over as the starting QB, but he is a good backup because he has experience. You can do ALOT worst than Carr. You can do ALOT worst than Carr. Yep, you could have Jamarcus Russell Carr is okay behind a good offensive line. Most of his problems in Carolina related to the fact that he was getting killed on almost every play. he is not a QB that you want to improvise and have to make plays on his own. But he has a good arm and can execute an offense and be a proverbial game manager. I would expect a lot more running and far more conservative play calling which means that Smith might be just fine. I would be more worried about Nicks and Manningham's production. Kevin Boss might actually become fantasy relevant with Carr under center. Just my two cents. His value can't get any higher at the moment. I might be tempted to sit Steve this week if Eli doesn't start, but at this point I wouldn't consider trading him off. He looks to be one of the most consistent WR's in a pool of inconsistency. Deal wisely, my friend.
