Last time I touched the 360 was well over a year and a half ago and that was playing Mass Effect which was bad ass. I may have to dust it off to play this one.

I would have never pegged you as a gamer.  i mean, you got Twoobs to play with....why pick up a gaming controller

But in all seriousness, I started playing Mass Effect and love it [minus the controls] however this game has replaced all other games until I am done with it.  It is way too bad assss if you ask me.

Mass Effect was the bomb.  Super happy with it.  There are so few good RPGs these days.  Everything is Anime BS or MMO.  MMOs are horrible because there is so much potential with them, but people - the one thing that should make them amazing, ruin them.  I can' wait for Mass Effect 2 - especially now that I downloaded that armor for Dragon Age that carries over.  Funny because I am not much a of a SciFi guy - I typically roll a lot more with Science Fantasy.  This game though - Dragon Age - has not disappointed.  It seems like they are finally rounding the corner when it comes to console RPGs.

:D

Not really a gamer at all but the RPGs help with my mild ADHD and allow me to focus and zone out for a few hours. :D

So I'm typically more of a shooter fan (CS, TF2, COD, etc.) but I did love me some Fallout 3.  I "liked" Oblivion but eventually got bored with it.  I think that Fallout's shooting portion helped keep me entertained when the story dipped (overall I like the story though).  Do you guys think this game has enough appeal for non-typical RPG fans like myself?

Honestly, no.  It's a hard core RPG.  Micro-managing battles is a must if you want to be successful.  This involves lots of pausing, issuing instructions to each party member, unpause, pause, repeat.  Not the type of thing a FPS gamer is going to enjoy.   I think you'd get much more enjoyment out of something like Mass Effect and the upcoming sequel.

alright... so the Wench loves herself the chance to bed other wimmens in RPGs.  She was a complete hound in Fable II.

So... we're playing this game and she starts flirting with the dark wizard chick you start with and things advance.  Well - a couple days ago we picked up this elven male assasin and in dialog the bugger starts getting really suggestive.

Well, to make a long story short, after doing what she was doing with the dark mage chick she ends up saying 'what the hell' and beds this elven male character with her dwarven male character and it goes to this crazy long cut scene that's dang near something out of skinimax.  it was kinda creepy.

Finally put Borderlands down and popped this in. Addicting, played 3 straight hours which is rare for me.

I did not read the instructions (I have to) and the tutorial is weak. I am obviously REALLY bad in battle as I just play with my main character. Any advice tips. I have the version on xbox360

Alright fools here is an update:

1.  If you pick up the rogue chick, twin short swords, train up poison and keep those blades covered in it, run with a crossbow as your second weapon choice, and pimp out traps.

2.  Try and nail both the rogue chick and morggin.  It's funny when they confront each other.

3.  Check all houses in redcliff for barrels of oil to use when the undead attack

4.  If you trigger a fight in the wild where you have a wall on the left hand side of you and a swampish like pond to the right, check the 4th fence post in for a ring that gives you +10 to cold and fire protection

If you encounter a necromancer near ruins, let him go, don't kill him or turn him in.

pretty good example as to what makes this one of the better RPGs to come out in a long long time.

when you are at the Brothel in the main city, if you choose "Surprise me" you'll wake up naked with a pig and a sheep.  I was dying laughing.

Anyone else pick up that assassin?  I did but haven't played him yet.  I tend to roll through the game the 1st time with the first full party I get.  Then when i replay it,i select the different characters.

I went through BG I and II a few times just so i could play the different party types.

the assasin is funny as heck.  well worth having in the party just for the banter.  he can also teach you how to be an assasin.  second time through and I am playing with a human theiif with the assasin and duelist specializations.
