ROYALWITCHEESE
weather vietnam - is it a country or a way of life?. Looks like those of us waiting for the Brady-Moss breakout will have to wait another week...
85thatstright10
I guess thats a downgrade for qb's wr's??? how does it effect the run game of these teams?
tosberg34
I don't think NE has a run game. They are going to be forced to pass.
irish
I don't think NE has a run game. They are going to be forced to pass. More than likely. However, Morris could see an uptick in carries, otherwise it'll be more short passes to Welker and Faulk.
HowboutthemCowboys
Meh, I've been burned too many times benching a guy b/c of the weather. If it ain't blowin 40 - 50 mph, blizzard conditions or a monsoon I ignore weather.

jaguars72
So would you start Moss over either D. Jax vs OAK and Roddy White vs Chi?

gilthorp
TN has shown no ability to stop any team. This is the furthest from a trap game as you can get.

ThatDude
No it isn't. It's just a prediction. Tenn Def pretty good against the run and IF the weather affects the passing game it could neutralize the matchup.
Czarina
This is a Trap game for NE This was my thinking earlier this week...then they announced that both of TN's starting corners were out. Ouch.
ThatDude
This was my thinking earlier this week...then they announced that both of TN's starting corners were out. Ouch. Agreed. If the weather doesn't affect the passing game then the Trap game is out the door.
Henry Muto
It's a trap game for all my fantasy teams because I have Moss, Welker and Brady going

Pats are 3-2. They need this game. They have no reason to overlook Tennessee. They play Tampa next week and then have a bye.
Delicious_bass
It's just a prediction. Tenn Def pretty good against the run and IF the weather affects the passing game it could neutralize the matchup. Pretty fair assessment, IMO. If the rain and wind are significant enough, Pats will not be able to complete many passes no matter who is covering them. Tennessee is desperate and could see this as their chance. IIRC, there was a game 2 seasons ago the Pats were supposed to annihilate the Jets but the weather was such that it was a sloppy, close game where no one could get much of anything going through the air... Not trying to scare anyone away from their Patriots...just sayin they are not impervious to harsh weather....
jaxfactor
This was my thinking earlier this week...then they announced that both of TN's starting corners were out. Ouch.
