1stand10
The game for the titans had this forcast Tennessee at New England - 4:15pm ET Kickoff Weather: 41 degrees with 100% chance of rain and stong winds out of the north Is this going to be good for the running game? I would think poor for the passing game? I think I may sit CJ and look elsewhere (LT) .... I don't get to see many muddy rainy games since we have a dome here. I am just thinking if I have Wrs or Qbs in this game........I'd be worried. Rbs- Maybe a decent play?? Hope for alot of mistackles.? Any thoughts

jaguars72
I have Moss, Roddy white, and D. Jax... I was thinking of sitting Jax but now may switch to sitting Moss Edited October 18, 2009 by jaguars72
griff321
Pats fans is this really a concern? I seem to remember Moss and Welker having a lot of huge days in bad weather.

gilthorp
Might have to start Eli over Brady...
lackey
I think this falls into the "never bench your studs" category. I don't know that you can feel good about benching Moss, CJ, Brady, etc. They could all blow up any given game, no matter the weather. Ursa Majoris
Isn't the weather just as much of an issue for the defense, especially CBs? I never worry about it, it falls into the overthinking category for me.

Zooty
Meh, I've been burned too many times benching a guy b/c of the weather. If it ain't blowin 40 - 50 mph, blizzard conditions or a monsoon I ignore weather. +
Double D
I agree with the last two posts. I think the bad weather screws up the CB's the most. Moss and Welker are running routes and Brady knows those routes before the they even make their cuts. The CB's dont and could be sliding all over especially with welker's short passes over the middle.
pig devilz
understandable that we consider the weather.....but, think about it, Tenn starting 2, that's 2, rookie DBacks Finnegan and Harper out Fuller, safety, out Tenn 31st in the league against the pass Tenn 3rd in the league against the run What's one thing we know about Belichick? He will prey on your weakness. When you have Moss and Welker on the field, you don't hand the ball off to less than stellar RB's all day because a some rain and wind. I look for play action passing, screens, short shots over the middle and a few long balls to Moss, against the rookies, even if he's doubled. Some confusing offensive sets, against the young D backs.... Brady needs to get his long game on track, he can't wait for the weather, and he won't. Second half of last weeks game was horrific. He knows it, I wouldn't bet against him this week. Tenn is not a hugh blitzing D, so TE (Watson) could have a nice game....that includes the weather. Vollmer (6'-8", 315) and or Kaczur will protect Brady's back with Light most likely out.
Randall
I don't worry but look for good "mudders" RB's that excel in those conditions. In mud the odds of having a WR are less so it probably evens out. We can't control what happens.
