montster
What a shame i was waiting to see if the eagles would celebrate a come-from-behind victory over a 1-3 team, or just walk off the field calmly. oh, oops, you have to win the game in order to celebrate. i_am_the_swammi
who's takin 1st shift on the swamkeg suicide watch meh.....very ugly game, depressing to watch. But beleive it or not, many here in Philly felt this was a perfect let-down game...cross country non-conference game against a fired-up team.....with three straight NFC East games on deck. It was ugly, but with the rest of the East losing, and the Cowboys effectively losing this week with Jones saying Philips is the coach for the rest of the year, we fortunately didn't lose any ground. keggerz
who's takin 1st shift on the swamkeg suicide watch i am all good....had a bad feeling about it earlier in the week...seems like there is a game every year lately where we play down to our competition and end up losing or being tied
i_am_the_swammi
Yep, thought they were better than the Raiders, not sure now. hmmm, if your "not sure now", then I guess it wasn't the "upset of the year"
keggerz
also probably some pay back for what I wrote about the Raiders in my article this week: After disposing of the Buccaneers at Lincoln Financial Field last week the Eagles will travel cross county to California to face a Raiders team that Coach Reid says is just an inch away. Really? Yeah, I am not even going to get into that anymore than I already have. The Eagles should have more trouble with the TSA at the airport then they will with the Raiders. The Raiders are giving up by far the fewest tackle opportunities/game so don't expect much fantasy production from Eagles defenders this week. and this little piece probably fired up Jamarcus but I expect the Eagles to really pressure Jamarcus" Bust"le. In case you missed it, the Eagles just got beat by the Raiders. The only thing you have going for you, is that if you were a Cowboys fan and they lost to the Raiders, the whole front page would be full of posts bashing you. kamikaze_sensei
Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. When my brother told me the Raiders were up 7-3, I didn't believe him. I had already chalked this game up to a loss. JaMarcus still had 2 interceptions, but at least he threw over 100 yards today. And the defense was great without Namndi, especially since they only got 3 field goals after being in Raider territory 8 times.
