The 1 thing that is hard to overcome during the football season is the ability of not getting stressed out during the week after a tough loss! I'm a competitive guy and I know you cant win them all, but I try like hell to come away with a victory each and every week!!

Well this week I lost in my 2 big money leagues. I scored 2nd highest in one of my leagues but with my luck, I ended up playing the team that scored THE highest. In the other league I was up by 46 and the other team only had Brady! I thought I had that wrapped up already! Boy was I wrong!!! And on top of it all..my football team lost!!! How can we lose to Jamarcus Russell and the pitiful organization called the Oakland Raiders?? Are you kidding me????

This weeks going to be a looooong week dwelling on a tough football weekend!!

Anyone else have issues of being stressed out??

I feel your pain bro. In my dynasty league all year long it has been like that I am starring down 2-4 after losing by 1, 3 and 5 pts this year and this week I sat Welker and Slaton.

I toss and turn every night on every decision that needs made.

I get mega stressed on every little thing I mess up and when your in as many leagues as me you have a lot of spots you can mess up in.

I mean I scored 212 pts in an NFFC league this week where $30,000 is 1st place and all I can think about is my $75 dynasty local team right now.

I tell you what losing feels a whole lot worse then winning feels good.

In one league I am the points leader and I'm 3-3; in another I'm 5-1 and second to last in points scored.

What are you going to do? In the words of the Hugh One start the guys that score the most points

Don't stress over it; do your best and then go to the bar (if you are single) or take your kids for a walk (if you have kids and your team isn't on).

I knew that the beginning of my season would be ruff, just because of the poor match ups and the slow start I get from these players and of course, injuries early on. I built my team knowing full and well that I would have to fight for every victory from week 1 through week 8 and things would then get much better.... that being said, that still didn't help my mental aspirations. Still bummed when I loose and only marginally happy when I win. Can't wait for week 8 so I can return to some dominance.

After my draft, I had thought that I would own my TD-Heavy league. The other teams looked like poopy hurled against a wall. I considered myself reasonably stacked at all positions, especially at WR, which I had thought would give me that competitive edge. However, Tomlinson has thus far been a bust. Until yesterday (R. Moss), I've been disgusted to repeatedly learn how horribly wrong I was on the WR front. After coming back from a hammy, Boldin's now got a "high ankle sprain." My WRs were hardly ever scoring. Other than Moss, they continue to fail me. I'm also still waiting for the big break at QB. These issues have held my team back from anything more than a lucky, skin-of-my-teeth third place. Boy, it is frustrating when you spend so much time on this stuff, throughout the year, and don't see the expected results while other, seemingly decrepid teams turn out to be fantasy juggernauts. Perhaps I let it stress me out too much. Perhaps it is time for me to check into fantasy football rehab or, at the very least, undergo an intervention. Anyone else care to join me? Consider this my cry-baby rant for the day, as the subject of this post struck a nerve!
