rajncajn
Do we see a worse performance than Sanchez vs Buffalo this week or does he begin to get on track with the running game starting to click? To be honest I haven't watched any of their games this year. Is it more a matter of the lost arm strength or has he just lost his confidence? It just seems to me that either way the coaches should be finding ways to work around that more with the RB/TE dump-offs & the high percentage, shorter throws. From what I have seen, when he gets in trouble is when he's trying to push the ball down field.

From what I have seen, when he gets in trouble is when he's trying to push the ball down field. Unfortunately it's both. He does have some zip still on the ball but his confidence is shot. He's starring receivers down which is causing DB's to get really good reads on his passes thus he has at least 1 INT each game. He can be counted on to turn the ball over at least twice and had become a major liability to the offense. His oline is still run blocking well, but they are not doing such a great job pass blocking. It has come to the point that every time Delhomme goes back to pass your just hopping he doesn't screw things up.
WaterMan
Delhomme just doesn't have any pocket presence because he is staring down his receiver. I rarely see him shrug off a blitzer or avoid more than one. Edited October 22, 2009 by WaterMan
