tazinib1
No official link yet...per twitter. I had such high hopes for this guy. So much potential. Hop on the Malcolm Floyd bandwagon folks. And we just might get to see Dymetrius Byrd strut his stuff.
tazinib1
Is he healthy? has he fully recovered from that serious car crash? hmmmmm...didn't realize he was on the non-football reserve/injury list. Hopefully he's good to go in 2010. Kids got skills.

Cunning Runt
I could see Chambers on the Ravens for the balance of this season.
MustOfBeenDrunk
I could see Chambers on the Ravens for the balance of this season. don't say that ,,, it would take away from Heap ( Chambers plays the TE role much like Colston was doing last year )

It's a good thing you aren't DMD, because some folks here may have run to the waiver wire between these two posts, and then wouldv'e claimed "rip off" and demanded money back for the Huddle dues! Savage Beatings
Hmmmm, maybe Tampa Bay? They could use another option at WR and it would bring Chambers back down to Florida.

STL Fan
Good God, the Rams could use a receiver of any skill level at all if he's healthy.

STL Fan
sorry but i think they have more broken then the WR position that needs to get fixed 1st. Sorry, but WR is one of the most glaring areas of weakness on this team, and since when does it make since to not upgrade one position because there are other positions that also need to be upgraded? You have to start somewhere, and he would be an upgrade over every single receiver on this team right now. (Also, it's than.)

Savage Beatings
Why would teams out of the playoff hunt want an aging WR that appears to be on the downside of his career? They could probably get Chambers fairly cheap couldn't they? It would be a show of good faith towards their Season Ticket holders that they are still trying to win games and put a decent product on the field instead of just giving up. The move locks in Malcom Floyd as a starter. The writing was on the wall for Chambers throughout the season's first half. Struggling badly to get open, the 31-year-old managed just 122 yards in seven games. He's simply lost his explosiveness, and never had reliable hands. Legedu Naanee now becomes San Diego's clear-cut third receiver. Chambers will probably get another look elsewhere, but his days of being an impact player are long gone. Big John
good point. I'm sure they'd offer him the minimum and he'd probably take it. He is a vested veteran and the season's income was guaranteed when he made the roster and was on the roster for week 1. He would need something more substancial to sign for the rest of the season. STL Fan
thanks Chief At least mine was a typo. And if Chambers can catch, yes, he is a definite upgrade to Avery.
