Scorcher
In one of my leagues after my draft, I saw a thread that said rate my team. I decided since I didn't ask I would go ahead. The result was in their review it started out" I am trying to be kind but you have a terrible team! I don't want to get overly emotional but I have to say that (sniff) it kind of hurt. They said that I was really foolish to pick Colston as my no.1 WR. Chris Johnson was a no.14 RB at best. The biggest tear was that I chose Flacco as my back-up QB. Needless to say this was more deflating than .312234907561134. Did any of you go with your gut and against all advice pick up players that the "Experts" trashed but are now making your season? Henry Muto
Come on guys! Just a comment! Do you have a player that you went with you gut against all advice and he's coming through for you? Hugh 0ne
Brett Favre. And the other guy who is really coming through for me I didn't want but he fell to me: Chris Johnson. So I'm still not sure if I'm a genius or a jackass.

Scorcher
Doesn't go to show that way back when: the first year on the Huddle when you (I'm including myself) asked all those questions that eventually it was what you learned as a Huddler or where ever else that really made the difference? Going with my gut I picked up Rudi Johnson and he was gold!
isleseeya
Hines Ward was rated pretty low in the overall scheme of things and he has been real good for me
Scorcher
Not judging, just want to know was there a player that was considered a bust( like Benson now) that you just went with your gut, as a homer or an FFB player and drafted and he went against all the odds and you looked like a genius!!? Scorcher
I took Benson and Jamal Lewis in some leagues, so I'm 50% there. I took Ray Rice in one league I guess some questions are better left unasked! Rice-----good pick!

About all I can decipher out of this mockery of the English language is that you seem to be patting yourself on the back for drafting Colston, Johnson, and Flacco as though these were complete unknowns and/or players widely thought to be junk. Colston and Johnson were both highly touted coming into this year. Flacco has outperformed expectation but its not like you planted a flag anywhere by taking any of these players. Moran Okay you got me. I've seen so many rate my team posts where people get slammed for asking on the FFL advice forum. i thought it was interesting that I could be solicited and rated by the experts. They slammed my team but in reality my draft was better than the so called experts predicted. Before game 1 they were calling me a moron. (you should learn how to spell) Have you ever gone with your gut against the experts and made a pick that turned out to be good for you and against the grain of the expert predictions? Anyway you saw through this post and realized that I only posted because in the heart of my bottom I only wanted someone to call me a moran!!! I wasn't even concerned about being called a moron. Thanks for your keen insight! I'll let you know what the next 6-pack is so you can indulge!

Thanks for your keen insight! I'll let you know what the next 6-pack is so you can indulge! I get what yer saying. Basically, anyone who "rates" a team is dumb, and I agree. No one "knows" Jack until week 6, and injury (sometimes to another player on the team) plays a big part in the end result. If your point is whether or not an RMT is a valid indication, I submity the answer is no, they are nothing but a summary regarding ADP. If you r point is where did you make the move high and have it work out, I'd have to say I took Addai early (at least a round or tw0) because I figured he be a good RB#2, and that's what he's turned out to be ...lucky he's healthy. In summation, RMT's are stupid.

No Quarter
I really didn't want Ray Rice but took him in the 3rd thanks to DMD. Of course he owed me one. (remember Willie Green?) I took Benson in the 5th and that was my call, I remembered how strong he was at the end of last year. I was afraid I was pretty weak at running back but so far it's worked out pretty well. i_am_the_swammi
A few this year in various leagues: Benson as a mid-round flier. Burleson as roster-filler in the late rounds. Saints defense in the last round has been a huge advanage over other defenses. Palmer as my back-up QB to Eli. Vernon Davis in the late rounds. Ricky Williams drafted in the 6th round as a RB3 on my squad behind Sjax & Westbrook.
