rai
as a Fantasy WR he's OK, not great not bad. But what do you guys think of him as a real WR? It's odd first you see him number 23 so you know he's not a WR, then you think he has a 4 year $40 million contract to be a #1 WR or to be a big factor on special teams. I don't guess he's anything much any more on special teams. I recall in the past teams would kick out of bounds just so he wouldn't return the ball. But now I think he's over-paid as a special teamer. So you have to look at him as a WR? I see him play, he can catch the ball, i mean if you throw it to him he'll catch a percentage of them, but he does not look to me like a real WR meaning a guy that can catch the ball that is not thrown exactly in the best spot or a guy that can get open. I saw one time he didn't appear to know what route to run or how to adjust to the ball that was underthrown. So do think he's being foisted as a #1 WR or do you think he will be one day a true #1 WR? Seahawks21
I think he would be a dangerous, dangerous weapon as a #2 or #3. If there was somebody else the defense had to worry about, it would free him up a lot more for bubble screens and quick hitches. He could possibly be dangerous enough with 60ish touches to justify a hefty salary if used correctly. I think it is working decently well on an individual basis, but that team certainly needs a true #1 if they want to get the most out of him. Is he a scary weapon? Sure. Is he a #1 WR? Nope.
