ebartender
So I was getting sick of Miller Lite/Yuengling and decided to get a case of some micro-brew from my local beer distributor. I bought a variety pack from the Philadelphia Brewing Company. I can honestly say that it was the worst beer I have ever tried. I couldn't give it away. My buddy at work turned me on to this place The Foodery which has empty 6-pack sleeves that you can fill with any combo of the many, many varieties of beer they have in stock. It's a beautiful thing because it lets me try out different beers without committing to a case of beer I won't drink. I made my first trip tonight and picked up the following: Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout (2) Victory Lager (1) Victory Festbier (1) Founders Breakfast Stout (1) Founders Dry Hopped Pale Ale (1) I just finished the 1st Chocolate Stout and I have to say it wasn't bad at all. Zooty
Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout (2) One of my all-time favorites. Almost as good as Youngs Chocolate Stout and you can never go wrong with Victory!
Puddy
Founders is an excellent brewery out of Michigan. Since you are new to different styles of beer, you may not 'like' some of them right off the bat. Founders is known for that Breakfast Stout. Hoppy beers sometimes taste too bitter for beer drinkers who first move from mainstream beer to 'better' beer. You may not like the Pale Ale at first but you will eventually. I promise. Congrats on moving on from the mainstream. You'll NEVER drink beer the same way again.
ebartender
Just popped open the Founders Breakfast Stout. The Victoy Lager was good but nothing special. It reminded me of Yuengling.
