BeeR
First GB. Now w/CAR it's "I have stud D Williams tearing it up and a nut-encrusted turd at QB. I think I'll do anything other than give it to Wms." Honestly he's had like what, 3 carries since early 2d Q?
tosberg34
Exactly. When the RB is doing well McCarthy will inexplicably take the ball out of his hands and go pass crazy (unsuccessfully, I might add).
piratesownninjas
Grant had 21 carries, so it's not as if he was on the bench for the game. If he could catch the ball he'd be in on more downs.
BeeR
True, 21 carries is good. But when you're trying to pass and it's not working, but the RB is doing well......and you keep passing a lot anyway.....it's fing stoopid.
Henry Muto
Car 1st and goal at the 1 and NO can't stop them all day running the ball and they try what ?
westvirginia
And for Taznib - it's plain to anyone with eyes that's watched these games that J-stew is merely above-average, Deangelo is special. There's a reason he's the starter.

rajncajn
The majority of DWill's carries were in the 2nd half. If you look at they YPC between the 1st & 2nd half you'll see that the Saints locked him down after the half. Stewart also carried 7 times in the 2nd half, so it's not like they abandoned the run.
