CardinalEmpire.com
Long story short, a friendly league I am in had unusual circumstances during the draft this season that caused two leagues to be created for basically the same group of guys. One of the owners wasn't able to get into the draft in the first league and threatened to abandon his auto-drafted team if another draft wasn't conducted. Several guys didn't want to bail on their first draft since they had "tipped their hand" about targeted players, so a compromise was made to do another league and re-set the draft order. Stupid, but whatever. Well now an owner playing in both leagues is proposing a trade to tank one of his teams (say in League A) to improve his team in League B. He's offering Drew Brees from the team that isn't going to make the playoffs if someone will give him a top-flight player in League B where he is competitive. Ignoring how dumb it is to operate two leagues in the first place, is this collusive?
Big John
That is collusion.
