Slugs3511
A buddy of mine told me that the KC's just activated him from a knee injury from last year. I do remember him being a significant part of the KC offense later on when LJ was out last year.....and he did quite well. His remaining schedule bodes well also for some decent days if you are desperate and someone like, Uhhhhh, Marion Barber has a tough game.... Oakland-Pittsburgh(Don't start)-San Diego- Denver (tough) Buffalo (wk 14) Cleveland (wk 15) Cincy.... Pretty tasty wouldn't you agree....? chinatown dragons
i was thinking same thing, as much as i think anyone on KC has limited fantasy value.... Right now, i had a claim in for LJ, thinking that he might sign with someone and have some fantasy value... but, interest has cooled off...... damageinc
Word is he is still not 100% from knee surgery. Chiefs coach Todd Haley refused to commit to a starting running back for Week 10 in his Friday press conference. "Either (Dantrell) Savage, (Kolby) Smith, or (Jamaal) Charles," Haley said. "Depends what play we decide to open with probably." Haley did guard that by saying Smith still isn't fully recovered from offseason knee surgery,
STL Fan
The Chiefs have scored ZERO touchdown's on the ground this year. Zero. The Rams have score one touchdown on the ground this year. One. Does that mean SJax isn't worth a look? Yeah, I just compared him to SJax and I'm not trying to say he's as good, but you know what I'm getting at. kingfish247
If Haley's trying to recreate what he had in AZ, picking a Chiefs RB will be a crapshoot. They likely won't ever run enough to make any single RB relevant for FF purposes. Whoever gets the main gig of dump offs and/or GL work (a la Hightower) will be the best bet. Especially in a PPR. The Chiefs can't find the GL with a map lately so that leaves dump offs. In other words, what a mess.
Big John
The Rams have score one touchdown on the ground this year. No comment of the inappropriate apostrophe? Those drive me nuts too.
STL Fan
No comment of the inappropriate apostrophe? Those drive me nuts too. It's a curse, man. If I drive down the street and see the extraneous apostrophe on a sign, it's (<---used correctly) all I can do to keep from stopping and fixing it myself. I'm in a 12-step program. Yeah, I just compared him to SJax and I'm not trying to say he's as good, but you know what I'm getting at. Yeah, I hear you. But I simply cannot endorse any part of this running game right now. Haley will not commit to it for any length of time. He also is way too predictable when he calls plays, and I don't see much (if any) audibles by Cassell to get out of obvious situations. At least with Jackson you know he can make his own plays because of his talent. I don't see any indication of that from these guys right now.
