jordanzs
Titans receiver Justin Gage likely will miss some time with multiple fractures in his back. But it's not as bad as it sounds. Coach Jeff Fisher disclosed the condition on Thursday, and he said that Gage is unlikely to play Sunday against the Bills, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. The breaks occurred in the "transverse process" -- the spiny bones that stick out of each vertebra. Surgery won't be needed, and the specific duration of Gage's absence isn't known. Typically, the bones heal within a couple of weeks. Gage suffered the injury on Sunday against the 49ers. He caught four passes for 97 yards during the game. CaptainHook
Edgerrin James had that injury once. Seems like he missed a couple games. Edited November 13, 2009 by CaptainHook
