I just traded away Dwayne Bowe and Correll Buckhalter for Jonathan Stewart and Percy Harvin just so I could make sure if Williams couldn't go that I wouldn't be screwed. The Panthers worked outside on a regulation-sized field for the first time Friday, but Williams was on the side. Doesn't get any stupider than that. montster Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 i need williams to play in the worst way. but i also have to think that carolina having a game next thursday will be a factor -- if williams gets dinged tomorrow, only a short week to recover. he could miss tomorrow, play thursday then have another long period to rest. darin3 Posted November 14, 2009 Share Posted November 14, 2009 Maybe I'm overly optimistic but with Stewart dinged, as per usual, perhaps they just sat D-Will out of practice on Friday as a precaution as to not re-tweak the knee.
