Gopher
seriously? If you are insinuating that there should not be a thread on this, since it SHOULD be a blowout, you clearly haven't seen many MIN/DET games. The Vikings have a tendency to play to the level of the competition, particularly within the division. They have a knack for allowing Detroit to keep it close. In fact, Minnesota very nearly ruined Detroit's "perfect" season last year. If not for Orlovsky running out the back of the end zone (and not even realizing it), the Lions would have won that game. Probably not a lot of people frequenting this thread, outside of Vikes/Lions fans. Unless they happen to be a Browns fan or something. Chavez
Peterson just popped a big run and got the ball knocked out, it went into the end zone, Lions recover.
Riffraff
Awesome breakaway run by Peterson.. until he got caught from behind in the open field, got the ball knocked out, and had a guy half his size drop him to the turf. Heck of a play by the defender. Edited November 15, 2009 by Riffraff

Riffraff
Was that a "horse collar" tackle? Defender grabbed the left shoulder pad, not the collar.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Defender grabbed the left shoulder pad, not the collar. Looked to be right under the neck to me. And that peceeded the strip. Edited November 15, 2009 by CaP'N GRuNGe
