Do Work Son
don't have the game...did he pull a westy? Yup he knew they were letting him score so he just fell to the ground....
keggerz
if he did pull a westy...it wouldnt be exactly the same because birds had the lead....not sure it is as smart to not score to take lead....no FG is a gimme
Jackass
that was a weird play as the jets were going to let him score
ts
And, that coming after the botched handoff between MJD & Garrard at the NYJ 1 yard line in the 1st half resulting in a lost fumble ... an ugly 12 point swing. mitpdub
Scobee's kick was a near block. From what I could see, one of the Jets defenders lept over the O line and came surprisingly close to getting in front of that.

gym_rat
I have bigger problems, I decided to sit MJD(Jets homer) for Pierre Thomas who was projected 18 points. The dude gets 4 points of course and MJD gets 20. I am lucky I am playing the worst team in the league or I would be screaming right now. LMFAO. he didnt want to root for a fantasy player against his HOMER TEAM....thought he had a good option so I see no problem with what he did....plus he said he was playing one of the bad teams in his league. Riffraff
His RB coach told him to do it during the previous timeout. Said that MJD was getting the rock, but to not score and put it in the hands of the kicker. MJD apologized to his fantasy fans for losing the fantasy points (he also owns himself so he apologized to himself as well). MJD apologized to his fantasy fans for losing the fantasy points (he also owns himself so he apologized to himself as well). call me crazy but I think that is horrible advice to give a player...they did NOT have the lead....if you can take the lead with a "free" TD you do it...to put it in the hands of your kicker is insane to me...far to many things that can go wrong...snap, hold, block etc...as I said earlier no FG or XP is truly a gimme...and it doesnt really say much for your confidence in your D either edit: I dont own nor played against MJD today Edited November 16, 2009 by keggerz
