Dwayne Bowe, WR KC

News: The Chiefs announced that WR Dwayne Bowe has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances. He will begin serving the suspension immediately and won't be eligible to play until Week 15 vs. Cleveland.

This is just terrible news. Take away the injury week and the week immediately after that in which he wasn't right and Bowe hadn't had less than 74 yards or a score in every week

While he hadn't yet had that 120-2 game, I felt the huddle's rank was justified. KC does have some veterans and the ability to move the ball, they aren't the Browns who just looked hopeless last night.

Is there any chance he appeals and drags it out a few games? That might even be worse, however, since we're looking at a week 15 return.

i guess you knew he was going to be suspended

 for you

Not at all, in the thread last week I said I more or less agreed with his relatively high Huddle ranking. Obviously no one knew this was coming, but if he is gone until week 15, his value is pretty much nil. His matchup that week is CLE, but I don't know how you could feel OK starting him his first week back. Week 16, he is at CIN. Ugh.

Nope, he has said he won't appeal.

Rumor around here is he took a diuretic during training camp as a way to cut weight when he came into camp fat and out of shape.

Starcaps? Do you think this will have any impact on the Saints/Vikings players who have avoided suspension thus far?
