Henry Muto
I got curious and looked up the current #1 team in the WCFF main event...and I was like wow...this does not look like the #1 overall team He had the 12/13 picks...and with the 1st pick of his draft he took...Steve Smith of Carolina!!!!!!!! his team is solid yes but wow 1st ? Really Rivers Ray Rice Charles Smith Ohco Wayne Sims-walker Clark Longwell Pitt DF That's his starting line up this week 1st week of the season he waived Sydney Rice..youch but 2nd week he picked up Sims-Walker He picked up Pitt DF off waivers in week 5...not sure why someone waived them...that was a gift Again week 7 he was given another gift as someone waived Charles (I am in 13 online leagues and no one waived Charles all year in any of them) He also had Owen Daniels I seen in his waiver cuts so that is where alot of his pts came from. Henry Muto
Well I would take my satellite team over this team and every single person on here posted how my team was very average. http://game.wcoff.com/cgi-bin/welcome_page...3&OPER=1209 I have Cutler Chris Johnson McCoy/Moreno/Wells pick 1 for a 2nd RB each week based on match ups R-Moss V-Jackson M-Colston Sims-Walker Gates Kaeding Cin/NE DF based off match ups I have a 50 pt lead heading into this week I just noticed something on his team he had both Clark and Daniels...wow - he has a pretty good team but out of 1,000 teams I was thinking he would have Ray Rice and Chris Johnson and not have Steve Smith as his 1st pick. griff321
Eh I think you're reading into the S Smith first round pick as being a blunder that worked, really it didn't matter the order of the picks because he had the next pick anyway. So if you think of it that way with Wayne #1 and Smith #2, it doesn't seem that wild. Edited November 22, 2009 by griff321

Chargerz
I am also amazed that he picked up the Pittsburgh defense and Charles in weeks 5 and 7 respectively. The other owners in his league have been kind.

tonorator
ray rice, sims-walker, and miles austin are the 3 guys that will put teams into playoff competition this year. outstanding contributors that could be had in later rounds or picked up via free agency. this team has 2 of the 3, so not surprising they are doing well.
