Flip_Side
Wow did not see this until now. 421 yards and 4 tds? Who started this guy, anyone?
Jackass
Stafford just threw the winning TD with a separated shoulder. Pretty ballsy.

kpholmes
Kid has some heart, no denying that. That hit he took before throwing the game winner was massive.
Furd
A Vikes QB may be. Lets see: A rookie QB on a terrible team throws 5 TD passes for the first time since the 50's. Leads his team back from a 24-3 deficit. Leads his team 88 yards in 1:46 with no timeouts and throws the game winning TD pass with no time left on the clock. vs A veteran QB leads a powerhouse offense to a cakewalk victory against a completely overmatched opponent. That's a tough one.
griff321
I just wish the Stafford could get some time with that line. The Vikings were creaming him on almost every play but yet he kept bouncing back. Ton of respect for him.
BadgerBacker
Stafford really impressed me with his guts today. He was clearly injured on that Hail Mary play and still came back for the final TD strike.

jetsfan
They weren't a powerhouse offense last year. It's amazing what Jamarcus Russell Tarvaris Jackson can do for a team.
griff321
Still it's not even close, Stafford by a mile. I'll be the first to tell you all about how dreamy The Silver Fox is and how much he dominated but C'MOOON! What Stafford did for Detroit today is nuts, hats off. Furd
They weren't a powerhouse offense last year. I'm not sure how that is relevant to a player of the week analysis.
Jackass
I'm not sure how that is relevant to a player of the week analysis. My point was Favre is a big factor as to why they're a powerhouse offense. He was dominant in 3 quarters of play. Both teams played against crappy defenses. Stafford deserves it this week but you have to give Favre his due.
loaf
Lets see: Leads his team 88 yards in 1:46 with no timeouts aided by the 40 yard Pass Interference call. Still a great game by the youngster

BeeR
If DET improves the OL and ever gets even a half-decent D, they could be a legit team. Yeah I know, hold your breath.
