Fabiano over on NFL.com blogged that "speculation is increasing" that he will be shut down for the rest of the year. He didn't mention anything about him going on the IR. He also says Jennings is the guy to get.

I just dumped Larry Johnson for Jennings in my H2H.

Here is what CBS has to say:

Browns flagship station WTAM-AM is reporting that RB Jamal Lewis has been placed on injured reserve with leg injuries. Lewis was not in the locker room during the media session today, nor was he at practice thereafter. Following up with the team this afternoon, CBSSports.com learned this afternoon that a move hasn't been made "at this time." Lewis, who criticized coach Eric Mangini's practice regimen a few weeks ago, has said he will retire after this season.

I'm not at all familiar with Chris Jennings. Is he good enough to put up a decent day against anyone? Would he get goal line carries, if he was the starter? Any help is appreciated. I'm looking to replace M. Lynch for depth coming down the stretch, and if Benson stays healthy, my LJ gamble won't help any.

Jamal Lewis done for season, probably career

Jamal Lewis - RB - CLE - Dec. 2 - 7:19 p.m. ET

Browns placed RB Jamal Lewis on injured reserve with "post-concussion symptoms," ending his season.

Lewis' 2009 season -- his last, if he makes good on his retirement plan -- ends with career lows in total yards (588), touchdowns (0), catches (8), and rushing yards per game (55.6). His 3.5 YPC average was the second lowest of his 10-year career. We've heard some observers call Lewis a possible and even probable Hall of Famer, but that's unlikely. While Lewis' 2003 season was one of the most dominant by a running back all-time, he only made one Pro Bowl and didn't have enough sustained success.

And Jennings is questionable, shoulder was in a wrap. seems like Harrisonis the man by default.

Browns | Six limited Wednesday Wed Dec 2, 08:35 PM

Cleveland Browns LB David Bowens (knee), LB Blake Costanzo (shoulder), OG Rex Hadnot (knee), RB Chris Jennings (shoulder), TE Robert Royal (thigh, finger) and FB Lawrence Vickers (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 2.

Coleman, Wimbley idle: End Kenyon Coleman and linebacker Kamerion Wimbley, who both suffered knee injuries in Cincinnati, sat out Wednesday's practice, but Mangini said "I think we have a shot with both those guys. We're going to have to see how the week goes and see how it plays out." Six players were limited, including running back Chris Jennings with an ailing shoulder. Jennings, who will be needed more with Jamal Lewis (head) out, had his shoulder wrapped.
