i_am_the_swammi
Per CBS, he sat today, too: DeAngelo Williams, RB CAR News: Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams missed a third straight day of practice with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable for Week 13 vs. Tampa Bay. Head coach John Fox had previously been optimistic about getting Williams back on the field Sunday, but didn't seem as confident after Friday's practice. "I'd prefer he was at practice and he was healthy and could play Sunday, but sometimes that doesn't happen." If he plays he'll split reps with Jonathan Stewart as usual, but Stewart would see all the work if Williams is out. Williams has three games with 100 yards and two touchdowns in his last four against the Buccaneers, including a 152-yard, two-TD effort in Week 6. Not to be outdone, Stewart has back-to-back 100-yard games with three total scores in his last two against Tampa Bay. Analysis: In Week 10 Williams was listed as questionable after missing practice Friday and played the following Sunday, totaling 122 yards. Expect him to play, though be sure to have a serviceable replacement for him in case he is ruled inactive. If he is ruled inactive, Stewart would be a tremendous option (he's a low-end No. 2 running back even if Williams plays because of the matchup). Skrappy1
Sounds like Williams may end up sitting today. According to beat writer Darin Gantt, there's been no sign of DeAngelo Williams (ankle) warming up on the field Sunday morning. There's nothing official yet. Signs were pointing toward Williams playing during the week, but his status is up in the air Sunday morning. For what it's worth, Scout.com's Adam Caplan believes it's "not looking good" or Williams this week. Get him out of fantasy lineups until we hear otherwise. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=3611

irish
This is great news for owners of both Williams and Stewart, like myself, as now you basically get all the production from 1 guy.
Big Ernie McCracken
This is great news for owners of both Williams and Stewart, like myself, as now you basically get all the production from 1 guy. irish
Hopefully there's a lot of production Certainly should be. I'm liking the idea of a 160 yard 2 TD day from Stewy.

Skrappy1
Hopefully there's a lot of production Despite being in a timeshare with Williams, Stewart's last two games against Tampa Bay he's totaled 32 carries for 225 yards and 3 TDs. Screw it, I'm sitting a gimpy SJax for him today.
ROYALWITCHEESE
Some of you guys should go get Sutton. With the Panthers having very little to play for, it wouldn't surprise me if they sit him again at some point over the next few weeks...
