slickvick
This is not good news as Harvin has been huge for me this season. With his return yardage he is the #1 WR in my league.I have to start Crabtree now.

Delicious_bass
This is a hugh loss for the Vikes. Assuming Hall stifles Rice, Harvin would have been counted on heavily to pick up the slack. Now it falls on Berrian(who hasnt been right all season) and Crank of Shank. This is going to be a tough oponent for the running game to get back on track but they have to stay comitted to it for as long as they can IMO. 3xcrazy
I agree with this being huge loss for the Vikes. Harvin is the X factor.

griff321
Migraines are sidelining him? Really? Pvssy. I've never had a migraine so I really had no idea as to how to approach the entire thing. It's not something to underestimate for sure and to call him a "pvssy" is about as ignorant as it gets. Â Some good reading for the uninformed. Â EDIT: also looks like he'll play and tear it up. Edited December 19, 2009 by griff321
Ursa Majoris
Migraines are sidelining him? Really? Pvssy. You have obviously never had one or known anyone who's had one. They make you literally want to cut your head off.
Outshined
Migraines are sidelining him? Really? Pvssy.    It may affect people different. It might be kind of hard to suck it up when they are so severe, he shuts down. I think Harvin might be one of the toughest players on the team and playing through pain. He has done it all year long.  Harvin said his migraines were so severe that he could not function. "They’re real bad," he said. "It’s hard to explain them for somebody who doesn’t know them. It got real bad to the point where I had to shut it down. Harvin admitted that the migraines are so debilitating that the effects are scary. "It is scary," he said. "I think me knowing what it is, it doesn't scare me that much. It's scary to the point where you've just got to lay down and hope for the best." griff321
eh, fook that. Â I have had migraines, the kind where you think that putting a drill in your head to relieve pressure might be a good idea. Â When I first got them, I was hospitalized twice. After a while, you learn to kinda make friends with the pain. Â He's had them for quite a while, so he just needs to learn to suck it up. Sooooo I take it you feel that Terrell "TD" Davis must be the biggest pvssy ever considering he missed part of a superbowl with a migraine? bpwallace49
To have a bad migrane is bad enough. Â Now add in bright lights and people hitting you on the head. Â The LAST thing he should be called is a pvssy
griff321
The Vikes did the right thing by stepping aside and sending him to the Mayo Clinic. Still takes time to figure out the magic combination that is his trigger, I'm shocked with all the specialists surrounding him they wouldn't have a complete enough of a history to find a diagnosis but what do I know about migraines. Â Bottom line of this thread and the new rule regarding Harvin in fantasy football is NEVER EVER EVER have Harvin starting in a late game and not have a suitable option to replace him. Chadman
Eh, whatever. Â Look, there's all kinds of medicine for this stuff and when that fails, doctors will "snow" a patient. Load him up a few days before with compazine, get a nice 12-hour sleep, reset the brain, and you're good to go. Will that work? Probably, but if not, he's worth millions, find a way to help the kid. Â The real issue is that this is a bad reflection on the Vikings medical staff. Â With all due respect, you are full of crap. Reset the brain? Find a way to help the kid by zapping him and sending him out to get his bell rung? I think the Vikings medical staff is doing the prudent thing for a rookie impact player when the team is zipping along in great shape in the playoff picture. Â i can almost get on board with the bolded part, but you are calling him out for may or may not be the responsibility of the medical staff. none of this is on him. migraines can be debilitating...as you should know from your experiences. Tazmanian devils
I think it's hard for anyone in this thread whos had a Migraine to compare that with an NFL player blocking and getting his helmet crashed and falling to the ground over and over and over for 3 or 4 hours straight to even begin to question this guy. A little different than you laying in bed or on the couch bitching about your migrain.
