Wildcard goes by total points in the league im in...not win/loss.

SORRY- A BIT OFF TOPIC.

I was the division winner, plus the third highest scoring team and didn't make the 4 team playoffs, thanks mostly to Larry Fitz and Reggie Wayne (I needed 3 more stinkin overall season points. Yes, i blame them and no one else from the entire season).

My commishes decided head-to-head was the tie breaker for the divison winner. My fellow mate beat me 2 out of three times. My only question was why I played him 3 times, whilst playing the other divisional oppoents 2 times during the regular season. They had no answer to that. I outscored my mate by 100 points overall during the season.

I lost out on the wildcard on points to someone who was 5-8-1 by THREE STINKIN points. They were unlucky, obviously, in matchups.

I'm not bitter, though.

Main money league...3 division winners and 1 wildcard spot get into the playoffs.

Wildcard is seeded #4 but, the #1 seed has their choice of who they want to face in the first round. The 2 other seeds play each other. If no choice is made than the usual #4 vs #1 and #3 vs #2 is put into place. This gives the #1 seed an added bonus, although it can be a curse having to decide...but still it adds a bit of drama to the playoffs. It was also added as the wildcard spot almost always has a team that has a better W/L record than one or both of the other division winners.

Yes, wildcard should be 4. I really don't like 3 divisions in fantasy football, especially with 12 or fewer teams. I've seen too many times where a division winner had a worse record than some second or third place teams in another division. I think 2 divisions is the way to go. But either way, wildcard teams are always seeded below division winners.
