femmefootball
Start 2QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR, 1TE, 1DEF, 1K in a 12 team PPR league My starting roster that won it: QB: Tony Romo, Alex Smith RB: Adrian Peterson, LT WR: Wes Welker, DeSean Jackson FLEX: Beanie Wells TE: Fred Davis D: ARZ K: Kris Brown AP and Wes (since in PPR) obviously were the top boys that got me to the finals, and Beanie FINALLY coming through with some points in the playoffs was nice, too, but what really won it for me was actually Alex Smith - well, my trade for him, anyhow. A guy about 5 weeks ago was hankering for a top QB, so I traded him Eli Manning and some random receiver (Malcom Floyd maybe? Someone I never started) for Alex Smith and DeSean Jackson. I had this strange feeling about Alex Smith, that he wasn't going to totally suck. Anyhow, Eli tanked while Jackson and Smith put up steady numbers every week for me, getting me to win 4 straight to make it as the #2 seed and, eventually, win it all. Company of Heroes
Team in sig. 2nd year in Fantasy Football, 2nd year at Huddle, 2nd championship in my $ local. Traded my way to a ridiculous team. Traded many of my drafted players (Pierre, SSmith, Moreno) after hot starts or big games for studs who were sporadic or under-performing. Acquired Fitz for SSmith & DMason, then Moss and Addai for AGates, Pierre, Moreno. PHI defense for MSanchez. Open waiver system is really silly, but until the commish changes I will take advantage. Picked up NOS Saints D, RMeachem, HNicks, JHarrison, etc. Only 4 drafted players remain on my roster.
Return Of S&B
QB Kurt Warner WR Steve Smith WR Donald Driver WR Brandon Marshall RB Chris Johnson RB Ray Rice TE Jermichael Finley W/R Beanie Wells K Nate Kaeding DEF New Orleans BN Visanthe Shiancoe BN Reggie Bush BN Matt Forte BN Kyle Orton BN Matt Hasselbeck BN Jerricho Cotchery BN Mike Wallace Won my office league. Finished as the #1 seed two out of last 4 years but didnt win the Championship Game until this year. The team started off slow with a 2-4 record, but ended up winning 10 in a row (including the playoff and championship games). The starting lineup above is who I started in the Championship Game, but many of the bench players contributed during the season as well. Team MVP has to go to Mr Chris Johnson, couldnt have done it without you bro! Interestingly enough, this is my 3rd championship with Kurt Warner at the helm, won two leagues back in 1999 and 2001 when he was with the Rams.
