rattsass Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 Looks like the wagering thread fizzled down the stretch here. I guess maybe everybody had a year like I had and has lost interest. Anyway, I'm coming off a somewhat successful Bowl weekend sullied only by a few horrible referee calls. (if you think NFL refs are bad watch some college games - yikes) Just thought I would start the thread at this late hour to see what anybody is thinking. Week 17 is a tricky one so I eliminated most of the games from my list. In week 17 I try to really hone in on the games that mean something, and there are few of those to be found this week. Here are the plays I am making. Eagles +3 - Yeah I am impressed with the Cowboys winning two games in December, but truth be told, it was a Saints team that was ripe for the picking, and a rudderless Redskins team that have put a spring in the Cowboys step. They got over the hump. They made the playoffs. I expect an Eagles team hungry for that Bye coming into Dallas and giving the Boys all they can handle. In reality, I think the Eagles are the better overall team, all things considered, and I expect them to take care of business today. Titans -6 - Titans have CJ showcase day all lined up against a team that quit weeks ago. Betting against the Seahawks is almost like stealing. I am also playing a 3 team parlay with those two picks and Cleveland -1 thrown in. Ride the Browns train one more time! Good luck to all of you today. JAGS +2 If the Jags can stop the browns on the ground I like there chances...... BEARS -3 I cant believe im betting on the bears...I think Cutler has another big game to give bears fans a glimpse of hope for next season.....38-17 Titans -6 I didnt make this pick official but I think the Titans should handle the Seahawks with ease....So maybe everybody should go with Seattle....
