Menudo
That was a nasty hit. He was moving his legs when the guys ran over to him. I hope he is o.k.
Bonedaddies
That was scary as heck, my roommate went down like that in a "fight night" one year, 3 seconds into the bout...scary stuff for sure!
Suture
Hope he's okay, that was NASTY. I wasn't even looking at the TV during that play, but totally heard the hit through the speakers and knew it must have been a helmet-to-helmet hit. Randall
Posted by Mike Florio on January 3, 2010 5:07 PM ET During Sunday's loss to the Steelers, rookie quarterback Pat White got his first taste of the NFL in something other than a cameo appearance, after starter Chad Henne left with an injury. After only three drives, however, White exited the field on a stretcher, after absorbing a helmet-to-helmet hit from cornerback Ike Taylor. Per a league source, White suffered a concussion. He lost consciousness "for several seconds," but White is now doing "better." White has the entire offseason to recuperate; the 30-24 loss knocked Miami out of the playoffs.
