keggerz
Not sure if this was posted or not but I heard earlier this week that the Jets would not be selling beer at this game...instead they are giving out those white towels to everyone. keggerz
Why did they do this? final game at the Meadowlands(do they still call it that?) and I guess they were afraid of the stadium getting tore up
buddahj
that's why you tailgate. and come to think of it...isn't this the reason why flasks were created?
CaptainHook
final game at the Meadowlands(do they still call it that?) and I guess they were afraid of the stadium getting tore up and a night game too, which can be much rowdier. probably a good call. How'd they get vendors to sign off on this though?
CaptainHook
why are the Jets fans so loud on offense????
Rovers
There is a percentage... maybe 5% of Jets fans that are absolute jerks. When drunk it goes to 10%. I won't go to even a 4pm game. They get too tanked up. A night game? With the playoos on the line? And closing the hated Giants stadium? If I ran security there, I would have shut down any tailgating, never mind selling beer in the stadium.

bpwallace49
The beer would freeze - it's frigid. I was at the Giants/Packers game at Lambeau 2 years ago for the NFC Championship. it was around -25 degrees . . . The beer was icing up after 3 minutes. We were able to finish them juuust in time Aside: Most of the Giants fans were actually nice. Except for the douchebags in the Jeremy Shockey spamshirts . .
