keggerz
Charles Grant was placed on IR with a torn triceps that he had to have surgery on http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2010/...nsive_e_11.html
myhousekey
Saints have re-signed DE Paul Spicer with the open roster spot. Spicer is a 10-year NFL veteran who first joined the Saints as a free agent last spring and played in all four preseason games with the team before being released in the final preseason cutdown. The 6-4, 295-pound lineman has played in 117 career games and tallied 349 tackles (241 solo), 28½ sacks, an interception, 19 pass defenses, seven forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries
rajncajn
Grant has underperformed this year. I hope this turns out to be a good thing for the Saints. I'd love to see what Hargrove can do with more time on the edge.

I'd love to see what Hargrove can do with more time on the edge. He may have underperformed but losing a starting DE is still losing a starting DE no matter how you slice it. (I'll agree that its not nearly the blow it would have been if we lost Will Smith). I did think this was pretty funny in the comment section of the NOLA article though... "Injuries happen all the time. Especially to Charles Grant".
thillman22
Got a bad feeling about their chances in the playoffs. Brees is going to have to play a heck of a game for them to move on.
