Cowboyz1
Well maybe just this weekend Cowboys MUD STOMP PHILLY AGAIN! That's three times in a row. Oh,, OHhhhh.......I need a cigarette. WOW what a total beat down. I couldn't have dreamed of a better way to finish off Philly. I am so Happy for the Cowboy nation. They proved everyone wrong except for myself of course. All the doubters, and media are now put in check. Romo played a great game, the line just punished Philly into submission and the D was just down right nasty. I haven't seen Dallas play defense like that in years, maybe ever. Physically, Dallas just was superior in every phase of the game and I haven't been able to say that in years either. Philly had no chance of beating us this year and that comment by Mcnabb about beating themselves just made me laugh. I also loved the way he came on the field playing his guitar. Pretty obvious he was nervous and trying not to let on to his younger players. On the field he looked scared, although I can't blame him, Ware and Spencer were all over him and everyone was double covered. Got to give credit to Wade's D there. Let's review, Romo 23 for 35 244 and 2'TD's, NO PICKS, NO Fumbles, No botched snaps, just plain ballin. Congrats Romo, you deserve it. Felix Jones looked great with 148 and a long score. he may just be our back of the future. Joins elite company for playoff performances third on the list behind Dorsett and Emmitt. Wow. Roy Williams sighting folks. Roy came though tonight and added yet another weapon, told you he would come through. Austin playing like his stud self with 89 and a score with some huge grabs for 1st downs. This kid is just amazing, I love his personality and his skills. Mcnabb horrible, the crys for Vick can now begin. Ironic Vick throws their only meaningful TD on his first play while Mcnabb hadn't competed a pass! Then Vicks fumbles. Classic just classic. Cowboys 198 yards rushing to Phllly's 54 yards oh how the wheels have come off the Eagles running game namely Westbrook. Dallas wins it's first playoff game in over a decade in dominating fashion thus the implications for this game: Wade is here to stay. I always thought he was a great coach and now he is getting his credit and proving it with some wins Romo has taken another positive step to studhood. This guy is going to be great, so glad we have him. Romo haters, zip it......... Jamie Dukes, Harrison, Sapp, Collinsworth, Swamm and all you others can kiss my Because you all don't know crap about what your talking about all year. Mcnabb and Reid may not be around next year? Philly fans are going to be whining all the way till next year. As for all intents and purposes they may as well been shutout twice in a row So it's on to the Vikings where fittingly it's Romo vs. his Role Model in Farve. I like the matchup as Farve is not mobile and our pass rush is ferocious. Our corners are playing as good as any in the league. Now if we can just teach Jenkins to get down after a pick . Wow that win was so awesome. I got a feeling.............This Cowboy team is going to be tough to beat. Savoir it now because, come Monday it's time to get the game face on for the Vikings. Just think it's now possibe to have the Championship game in Dallas.........Now let me not get ahead of myself...... Oh and Swamm your sig and avy will be here shortly and like I said, I am proud to where the sigs you all came up with, as it further proves my point. i_am_the_swammi
Cowboys totally dominated our Birds...twice in 6 days, 3 times this season. No excuses, no smack talk needed....the Boys are definitely better than I thought they could be, and somewhat surprisingly might, at this point, indeed be the team to beat in the NFC. The Vikes will have their hands full for sure next week. Congrats to you...its been a long long long time since you could celebrate a playoff win. I'll be glad to wear a sig line for you for a week...even though we never did have a bet I told you I do whatever you wanted, but you never proposed anything? You just said "it was a given"...but nothing in terms of avi, time needed to wear it....nada. And since you are already wearing my sigline for the next four weeks, what really was there for me to gain? Oh well, I'll man up....couldn't be anything worse than they way we played tonight. Swamm, your a worthy advisary and even though you and other may call me an abnoxious Cowboys fan, I have a good time with you all and you have to admit we cowboy fans have taken it on the chin more then a few times on this board over the past say 13 years and so I take the liberty of trying to give it all back in one season. So though I may come off as a totally wild Cowboy fan, I am really just blowing off years of pinned up stream from losing heartbreaking games in gutwrenching fasion, to your Eagles and the Hawks and the Giants. So to be fair I adimit being a bit over the top lately but can you blame me for seeing some promise early and then selling out this year and seeing it pay off? As I have said here many times, "I am willing to take a few punches in order to give a few". Right about now I'd say my foes are seeing stars in more ways then one! That said, Thanks for the humble congrats Swamm your a true fan and that makes for great trash talk. That said, we really cleaned your plow this year Swamm As far are the Sig I assumed a standard week avy and sig for our bet which has been our norm in the past so I can give you a sig or you can give me back mine as you can see neither of them are very relevent and quite frankly don't apply at all now do they? In fact, they are more a badge of honor for me now anyway so either way you let me know what you think. We can make a compromise or not, your call... CowboysDiehard
What made it even sweeter was that I parlayed the jets & the over in the previous game. When i went to bet the Boys & the over in this game, I didn't notice I still had the Jets bet on my board. So, I ended up hitting a 4 leg parlay. And yes, while some of your other Cowboy bretheren don't like you chirping so loud before the game is actually played, it is those that chirp the loudest that have the right to puff their chests a little further when their prognostications come true. You believed in your team when no one else did...kudos in your direction. Just remember one little thing, tho....you Boys fans have always told us Eagles fans that playoff wins don't mean poopy until you win the Bowl...something you guys should keep in mind. Like us, unless you get the ring this year, we're all no better than Detroit. Edited January 10, 2010 by i_am_the_swammi
Wolv
Not much to say after that dominating performance. For the first time in years I have some confidence in their abilities to finish a game instead of that usual feeling of foreboding.... and @ Whomp!
