thillman22
Hall of famer in my book. But a good time to hang them up. Leinert should be ok next year and a decent franchise quarterback.

Leinert sucks as a NFL qb he should of stayed in collage for another 12 years
Jackass
The only people who would use Lienart and franchise qb in the same sentence are people who own Leinart in a dynasty league and his mother.
nuke'em ttg
Leinert sucks as a NFL qb he should of stayed in collage for another 12 years +1......i'm callin Whiz about a guy that just graduated from University of South Dakota
thillman22
I think we'll see next year what Leinert is made of. They can't go out and get another QB without giving him a real chance first.
Big John
I think we'll see next year what Leinert is made of. They can't go out and get another QB without giving him a real chance first. He had a chance before inserting Warner and he did not do very good then either.

Chief
Lienart sucks monkeyballs. Warner does check downs very well where Lienart checks, then he's down. I don't think Lienarts any better than Joey Hairball was, and that's saying something.
Donutrun Jellies
Hall of famer in my book. But a good time to hang them up. Agreed - he's done enough on both counts ... though I think he could play another year at a high level ... Leinert should be ok next year and a decent franchise quarterback. Nope - the coddled USC lifestyle ruined him -- when entitlement replaces work ethic, potential gets squandered. He's shown what he can do with an incredibly talented receiver crew (very little). At best, because of the talent around him in Zona, he's likely destined to be a .500 QB and a reality show contestant. HIs chances of being a high level NFL QB are slim, unless he changes his ways -- which is unlikely, but possible, I suppose...
lennykravitz2004
From 99-01, having season tix to the Rams was THE ticket to have in our baseball town. "We will rally around Kurt Warner, and we will play... good... football." - Dick Vermeil Say what you want about his religious fervor, his (ahem) lovely bride, or anything else not on the field. On the field, the man is a winner. Plain and simple. He better be 1st ballot HOF, or I will have no confidence in that election process. cdrudge
He better be 1st ballot HOF, or I will have no confidence in that election process. There was a bunch of discussion last year after their run about the prospects of Warner making it into the hall of fame. I don't know if he makes it into Canton or not. He probably does, but probably not first ballot. He's had some great moments, but the middle of his career hurts him IMHO. Rovers
Warner will be a first ballot guy, especially if he retires now. Now, if Favre hangs 'em up after this year, that could bump Warner to his second year. I think that big hit probably convinced him to retire before he gets really hurt. He'll go out looking like the warrior he is after returning to the game after that hit. I have no doubt he gets into Canton.
buddahj
Leinert sucks as a NFL qb he should of stayed in collage for another 12 years + 1,000,000 If he's this bad with all that talent around him...imagine if he played on a crappy team. nuke'em ttg
Alot of CLASS guys in the HOF, always like the humble speeches from these great men, especially Sweetness....Warner belongs in that group
FWmaker
The only people who would use Lienart and franchise qb in the same sentence are people who own Leinart in a dynasty league and his mother. I think Lienart's mom is more astute than that. If she had him in a dynasty league, I think she'd look for an uptick in value, then UNLOAD. thillman22
I agree Warner should be first ballot, but I think he will settle for just getting in considering how many quality years he had. Those years were damn good though.

Scorcher
Warner is a great statesman in the game of football. A comeback player and a class act on and off the field.
