When will Wes Welker return? Does anyone have any new news about Welker I've heard he will be ready at the start of week 1, at mid season and some sources say he will miss the whole year. If anyone has any news about this can you show me??

According to what I witnessed in my time machine, he will catch 3 awsome balls for 29 awsome yards in Week 7 next year after coming off the awsome PUP list.

 U forgot about awsome Tom Brady praising him for his awsome week 7 heroics :D

I would expect at least 8 months if not more. That would put it October/Novemberish depending on when he has the surgery. If he's not on the IR, I would agree with LordOpie that he doesn't have much value for 2010. Maybe as a last quarter of the season sleeper.

I think he will never be back to the Welker we all knew.

+1

He's no spring chicken and his game is based almost entirely on speed and making quick cuts - he won't be able to effectively play that game again for probably 2 years, at which point he'll be 30+. I suppose he could have a couple useful years after that but I can't see him being the same guy again. At least his body avoids a constant beating for the next year . . .
