Cowboyz1
I know it's a prestigious honor to be inducted into the HOF, but is that all they get other then the Jacket. I mean are there other things that go along with being a HOF'er? Not that being in the HOF isn't enough, just wondering if there are other perks that I am unaware of besides the obvious, Jacket, cerimony and such. Cunning Runt
I think they get the right to vote on future HOFers. That's a pretty big honor/responsibility. Not sure about actual "stuff".

KOKIDKOKID
Don't know what they get as far as "official" extras but Rick Barry (NBA HOF'er) once said he believes being a HOF'er was worth an extra $100k a year in regards to never paying for a meal, drink, hotel stay, etc....now that's an NBA HOF'er and his opinion (as heard on a local radio talk show he used to host in the SF Bay Area)...I bet he was right too and I'd imagine similar non-official swag exists for NFL HOF'ers too. Members of the HOF don't get a vote. The committee is mainly sports writers.

Cowboyz1
All the hubbub around these parts... I just don't get the argument that people high kill on the streets. In my experience with pot, your too peranoid to speed, in fact most are so cautious when driving they drive to slow. I remember one time driving down the street blazed and my buddy looked over at me after a road bike road past us and said "dude how fast are you going"? I looked down at said 5, I'm doing 5 miles and hour. We both cracked up. Anyhow, I don't recall reading anything about pot influenced individuals, fighting, causing a disturbance other then wild laughter, or reckless driving. Have you? Fact is, people who are high don't want any trouble and darn sure don't go looking for it. Fact two, the order of behavior for pot heads is get high> find couch> laugh> find food> sleep. That about sums it up. To say this is a gateway drug is also bogus. The only gateway pot leads to is junk food and 7 eleven. Now Alcohol on the other hand is way different. I would much rather be on the road with everyone high rather then drunk. It would be a lot safer.
