evil_gop_liars
So I reluctantly pick up a wine on a recommendation. If it was'nt for the person making the recommendation I would never tried this. Anyway the wine is Ten Spoons Flathead Cherry Dry. This wine was surprisingly likable. It smells a bit yeasty but it is organic and uses no sulfites and as a homebrewer this smell has never bothered me. I was surprised at how dry and flavorful it actually was, it just needs more mouth feel. But for the most part not a bad wine. and now onto the disappointment of the week. The new IPA from New Belgium called Ranger. Bah, this thing shouldn't have the cherished letters IPA scratched anywhere on it. Unfortunately I think this might be sign of things to come, hopback the daylights out of what would normally be called a pale ale and call it an IPA. Lots of nice citrusy aroma but no substance. Maybe I should of lowered my expectations.
