rajncajn
No way the Saints let him go. You'll hear a lot of talk about LT coming to NO as well. JMO it's all talk & wishful thinking on LT's part.
rajncajn
PT is a RFA without a tender offer yet. Any word if they're actively trying to sign him? Nothing as of yet, but they've been pretty tight-lipped on negotiations with Loomis running the show
tazinib1
I wouldn't be too sad to Viva La France come to SD to try and fill LT's void.
eags
dude awsome question! i love PT! if payton lets him go he will make a big mistake. he is a good all around back in that monster offense. what do you think he can do on other teams that will use him like he should be used? like new england, philly, san diego, pitt, etc? PT is a SOLID all around back next year.
Chargerz
You'll hear a lot of talk about LT coming to NO as well. Drew Brees is doing some of that talking by lobbying for LT to join the Saints. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.
Duchess Jack
I think that Thomas is VERY replacable. It really should not be very hard to get yards as a RB in that offense.

I actually think he's being a bit underrated. A lot of what PT does is after first contact. One of the things that make him so good for our offense is that he breaks a lot of tackles beyond the LOS. With our O-line I think his production will only go up.
SLAYER
Point 1. Pierre is not going anywhere. Point 2. If LT comes to the Saints it will be as a #3 RB and to help school Reggie.
Big John
Can NOS still give him a multi-year contract before FA begins? What are the tender rules on that? Big John? They they agree on a contract, they can give him any length contract and forego the tender. It may be in a form of signing the tender then replacing that with the agreed contract. Scooby's Hubby
Like LT is comin to New Orleans, give that up quick b/c it won't happen. Pierre Thomas will be a pretty good RB fantasy pick no sooner than the 3rd round, just like last year. As for LT... I could see him in WASH as a starter or in New England, the latter is probably where LT would prefer.
Trots
Pierre was a disappointment fantasy-wise. The door was ajar for him to have a hugh year. He just couldn't stay healthy and productive enough to live up to the hype. Nice player but not a game changer IMHO.
