FWIW. Looks like Campbell is a Raider. :D

We shall see. Physically, he was a beast out there this week.

Luckily for the Raiders Cable will make the calls on which offensive linemen are draft worthy, while Al will decide on just about every other position.

Jahvid Best's stock goes up, as he routed many of the other RBs in the 40 and cone drills.

You also have to think Tebow is looking better now than he did before. Even without throwing, he looked like the athletic competitor he is out there.

Jimmy Graham, TE, Miami (Fla.) . He is tall and well built and has been receiving a lot of hype in postseason because of his background and limited football experience. He struggled at the Senior Bowl, showing a lack of athleticism. He quelled some of those fears Saturday, looking like a good athlete without pads. If able to repeat his Combine performance at Miami's on-campus workout March 26, he could move into the third round or even late second.

This is what I don't understand. He did'nt play well at the Senior Bowl; lacks athleticism. But boy did he look like an athlete without pads!

i loved reading this on pft....

As the Winter Olympics conclude and the Underwear Olympics a/k/a the Scouting Combine continues, a league source has shared with us some anecdotal information regarding the correlation between the perceived performance in drills and on-field football performance.

The source says that, several years back, he had video of a running back doing a workout that included various drills -- running, cutting, receiving, etc. The tape contained no markings on the field or the T-shirt that could be used to identify the player.

So the source had various scouts and personnel types review the tape and evaluate the player, without telling them that the player already was in the league.

The response was lukewarm. "He's OK," one guy said. "Nothing special," said another.

Not only was the player already in the league, but he was playing at a Pro Bowl level.

The point is that scouts often are influenced by the names on the shirt, and that grades applied to players could be much different if the drills were conducted blindly.

That's why some personnel types joke that grades given to some players are written in pencil, and that grades in a player's files can mysteriously change at various stages of his NFL career.

Yeah I don't see that Best did anything for himself.

I think Tebow goes to JAX in 2d, in fact they might trade up higher in 2d or even late 1st to do it. They shouldn't, but will.

Hopefully not too much pressure on the kid there. He would be better off somewhere else.
