bpwallace49
I wonder who they draft/sign . . . . maybe Golden Tate? Sign Kevin Walter to be the possession guy?
piratesownninjas
I wonder who they draft/sign . . . . maybe Golden Tate? Sign Kevin Walter to be the possession guy? Kevin Walter would have to do coke/DUI before they'd look at him.

irish
I can't believe how bad he fizzled there. Oh well I wasn't shocked as he started to fizzle as a Jet and the Bengals went to more of a running attack on offense.

tonorator
Kevin Walter would have to do coke/DUI before they'd look at him. whatever it takes to get him here. he would be great as a possession receiver for palmer ... even with him, we still need another big play guy. Capt. Stanky
you guys don't think Caldwell has a future? I do think Caldwell has a future, but it appears to be as a slot receiver from what I've seen thus far. He does remind me of TJ a bit. He's tougher than his listed size would indicate. From what I've read, they are looking at Matt Jones as more of a receiving TE than a WR. I'd love to see the Bengals make a play for Marshall, but that's just not the kind of move this frugal franchise makes. Chad isn't going to be playing at a high level for too many more years, and Jerome Simpson appears to be too dumb to learn the playbook. I get upset everytime I think about the fact that we could have had Desean Jackson instead of Jerome Simpson...Urghhhh!!! There's talk of TO, but that will probably only help for one season, if even that. Watching the bottom kind of fall out at the end of last year I started thinking about how infrequently the Bengals are in a position to make the playoffs. The D is top 10 and I hope they do enough to help the O so that we have another shot at making some noise next year. I truly wouldn't be surprised if we win 6 or 12 games next year. At first I thought that the rumor of Owens going to the Bengels would have ended up being a disater because of Palmers arm, but then Owens isn't out speeding anybody these days, so it just might work out. Capt. Stanky
these guys still need somebody to get them the ball. I am still pulling for Palmer, but his ball has really lost its zip. At first I thought that the rumor of Owens going to the Bengels would have ended up being a disater because of Palmers arm, but then Owens isn't out speeding anybody these days, so it just might work out. I don't think Palmer's problems are with his arm. I think his problem is a lack of confidence in his receivers and his O-lines ability to keep him upright. He did make some scratch your head kind of throws last year, but I think it was more an issue with his footwork breaking down due to presure in the pocket. I really don't think anything is wrong with Palmer's arm, but their is something wrong with Palmer's confidence. Edited March 8, 2010 by Capt.
