Several calls to head coach John Fox and general manager Marty Hurney have not yet been returned. However, several GMs told FOXSports.com that they are hearing Delhomme will be released and is likely to hit the market as early as Friday. The team has already made a commitment to Matt Moore by offering him a one-year tender worth over $3 million. Despite recent stories that there would be an open quarterback competition that obviously is not the case. The job will be Moore's. "My wife and I are ecstatic right now," Moore said recently, according to published reports. "I was surprised. I didn't know exactly what to expect, to be perfectly honest with you. When my agent called and told me about (the tender) I was really excited and really happy. I think it shows they have a lot of confidence in me, which is reassuring."
