HowboutthemCowboys
Curious what Huddle Nation thinks.. EDIT: poll fail! Some guys are great #2's then struggle as #1's. Does anyone think Boldin will have any problems? Edited March 5, 2010 by HowboutthemCowboys
Henry Muto
Good thing I traded away Charles for Boldin in mid season last year.

bpwallace49
I think the play calling might hurt his stock.

Scorcher
I think this will give the Ravens a very evenly and well distributed offense.
nuke'em ttg
the guy has made some unreal catches and is tough as hell but that hammy flares up like clockwork every year
Piles
Arizona gives Boldin and a 5th and Baltimore gives a 3rd and a 4th I am shocked Arizona couldn't do better than that for Boldin.

Don't get me wrong, Boldin's a good player. But I think the QB makes the receivers and being the # 2 opposite Fitz is different than being covered by a team's #1 corner every game. I think that's why teams didn't want to give up more.

Are you kidding me? Boldin was a beast with Jeff Blake throwing to him his rookie year in Arizona. I believe this was before Fitz was there also. Just as long as he can stay healthy (his only weakness) Boldin should have no problem being a viable #1 with Flacco throwing to him.

CaptainHook
Boldin can't stay healthy. It's the only reason he's not a legit #1 NFL WR or fantasy WR. He misses a 2-4 games a year.
CaptainHook
And that being said, I'd love to see him on the Colts. He's the best YAC WR in the NFL next to Brandon Marshall.
Return Of S&B
I am not kidding you. In 2003, Boldin was Arizona's #1 WR as a Rookie His Stats: 16 Games Started, 101 Receptions 1,377 Yards, 8 Touchdowns. with JEFF BLAKE throwing to him... CaptainHook
one of only two years in his 8 year career when he didn't miss games to injury.
Return Of S&B
one of only two years in his 8 year career when he didn't miss games to injury. This is true...except he has played 7 years (not 8) AND he has had 83+ Receptions and 1000+ Yards, 5 out of those 7 years.

The dude is a beast, no doubt. If he could stay healthy, he'd put up sick numbers. I do think this is a fantastic signing for the Ravens. It gives them a legitimate WR for the first time in years. Uh, Flacco is a hell of a player. If Clayton doesn't drop pretty much everything that was thrown his way, Flacco's numbers are WAY better. Flacco gets a boost, as does Boldin, as I have Flacco as a way better QB than Leinart

Their crappy OLine hasn't helped Flacco much either, as Todd Heap has had to stay in and block and had all but disappeared from the passing game until late last season - once the line finally started to look good. He seemed to regress a bit last year after his hot start.

He seemed to regress a bit last year after his hot start. 3600-21-12 was his stat line last year. He threw for 651 more yards than the previous year as he also threw 7 more TD's. Remember, it was his second year in the league. The guy is going to be really good for a really long time.

WashingtonD
80 or so catches, 1200 or so yards, 8 or so TDs would be my first blush guess...assuming he's healthy for 14 games or so that is...in any case he's going to be a red zone beast for them, so I may be guessing a bit low on TDs and a bit high on yardage...
