Skilly
The Jets are used to sloppy seconds.
kpholmes
Woody fighting the coin toss because neither team was present. A very valid complaint imo. Edited March 16, 2010 by kpholmes
scottyjets
I love Woody's enthusiasm but let the G-Men open in a meaningless game on Sunday afternoon game against the Redskins. The NFL is smart to show off NY's premiere team (J-E-T-S) in the new stadium's primetime nationally televised debut.
i_am_the_swammi
I'd rather play Monday Night in the spotlight than on Sunday in a regionlly-seen broadcast. Then again, who cares?
Dutch Oven
Woody fighting the coin toss because neither team was present.A very valid complaint imo. They were talking about this on Mike and Mike this morning. It did sound a little shady.
Medal of Honor
I don't understand what the Jets are complaining about. I'd rather be seen nationally than regionally. I guess the NFL could always give one a morning game and one Sunday night or Sunday afternoon right? If they both HAD to play that day. Who cares anyway, silly New York teams. wolfer
This is only a problem if NBC takes the Giants as the night game in week 1. Maybe Fox has the rights to it though, maybe that was part of the coin toss. Bah, this is a slow day in sports if we're arguing a coin toss! Big John
This is only a problem if NBC takes the Giants as the night game in week 1. Maybe Fox has the rights to it though, maybe that was part of the coin toss. They said it will be an afternoon game, so it will be on Fox (or CBS if they host an AFC team that day.) LosGatosEnFuegos
Woody fighting the coin toss because neither team was present.A very valid complaint imo. How about they let the Giants play the opener after calling Giants Stadium home for the last 25 years?
