DMD
Both Patriots now that Holt signed a one-year contract for $1.75. That would be awesome if this was four years ago.

WaterMan
I hope defenses enjoy leaving WRs open on that team.
budlitebrad
That would be awesome if this was four years ago. [bigJohn]Moss only had 553 yards in 2006.[/bigJohn] Seven years ago sounds better.
Jackass
There goes my dream of Dez Bryant to the Patriots... I highly doubt signing an over the hill veteran for 1.75 mill will have any impact on whether they draft Bryant.
MikesVikes
[bigJohn]Moss only had 553 yards in 2006.[/bigJohn] Seven years ago sounds better. Lol. Oakland as a team only had 7 td passes in 2006. Brooks and Walter both led with 3 each. That would be exciting.

Patsfan39
I think a WR isn't out of the question in the 1st, or maybe get one of the 2nd/3rd tier guys in the 2nd. Or a guy like Shipley in the 3rd.
Bengal Mania
Well, there's no debate anymore.....the Pat's Saturday night team dinner is starting at 4:30 PM.........you're late, you lose
peteteacher2001
If they do draft a WR in the first or second, who else would you like to have as a mentor(s). If I were a Pats fan, I wouldn't be disappointed at all Torry is a quality person on and off the field.
i_am_the_swammi
5 Years ago that looked like a fantasy lineup. Now it looks like the line to get into Shady Acres Retirement Community. With Brady tossing the rock, in Belicheat's scheme, it is still a top-5 (potentially top-2) passing team. I don't care how old they are. Running 3-4 WR sets, someone will always be open. If Brady goes for approx. 4000 yards, I'd guess 1,300 are Moss's, 1,100 are Welker/Edelman's, 700 are Holts, and the remaining 900+ split between Crumpler and the RBs. That's an exceptioanlly effective passing game. keep in mind, last year was Brady's first coming back from his surgery, and he struggled for the first few weeks. Frankly, I don't know if he ever was truly himself. I expect him to fire on all cylinders starting in Week 1.
