Seahawks21
Danny O'Neil blog for Seattle Times "It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks," Schneider said. "It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point in our program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future." These details ought to be fun in the coming days. Savage Beatings
My first thought was that he must have "whaled" up again, but then I read this... White was in great shape, saying he weighed 219 pounds at the team's most recent practice that was open to reporters.

WashingtonD
Maybe let Forsett run the ball as he's clearly the most talented guy they have in that position, the last head coach just couldn't figure that out?

I hope the guy who drafted right before me 2 weeks ago is reading this as he drafted White and I snagged Forsett on the next pick. Ohh the Karma of it all. Gotta hate those early drafts. Square
Didn't they just trade for him in the draft? I mean, Pete should have known if he'd be a bad character guy by now so I wonder WT# happened? I'm not a big Lendale fan, but I figured he could take JJs spot and let Forsett/Leon be the stars while he does some short yardage work. If I had to guess, It would be that he came into Seattle with a false sense of entitlement to the starting job... Someone put him in his place and he mouthed off... Glad I traded away my depth at RB in my local dynasty because I felt strongly about White...

Bronco Billy
Maybe he & JaMarcus can do some Country Harvest Buffet commercials together, since it appears they'll both have a lot of free time on their hands.

lennykravitz2004
If I had to guess, It would be that he came into Seattle with a false sense of entitlement to the starting job... Someone put him in his place and he mouthed off... Glad I traded away my depth at RB in my local dynasty because I felt strongly about White... I bet you still feel pretty strongly about him... Is White the issue here, or has Carroll forgotten what running an NFL franchise is like as HC? (Insert gratuitous USC joke here.) Wasn't there a reason he left the NFL and went back to college (more than once)? Edited May 28, 2010 by lennykravitz2004

Wasn't there a reason he left the NFL and went back to college (more than once)? Carroll's hands were tied in NE as far as decisions pertaining to players go. He was given the players and told to make it work... At that time the Patriots roster wasn't very impressive outside of a few guys.

I just paid $1 for Forsett in auction...
Seahawks21
A healthy Leon Washington is heads and shoulders above Forsett talent-wise. Washington is what Forsett would be if he was fast. I would bet $1 right now that Julius Jones gets the first carry of the 2010 season for the Seahawks.

HutOne
When are some of these guys gonna learn that you have to put your time in the classroom . I heard he got cut because he was falling asleep during film study and showing up late. Thats the same reason he got traded. Once they sign the big contract I guess they think thats all they have to do. I hope the NFL puts in a rookie salary cap like the NBA has. kpholmes
yeah, I just saw that. I like how LaCanfora highlighted that, but then glossed over the 4-game suspension. He's no Adam Scheft, that's for sure.
jordanzs
I'm almost willing to bet money that Lendale ends up on the Bangles, backing up Cedric Benson until he wears down. Seems like a match made in heaven! If the Rams were smart though, they'd snatch him up. They don't have much behind SJax.
Savage Beatings
Shanny seems to be building a rehabilitation/retirement home for washed up RB's in Washington... wouldn't surprise me if he ended up there.
