bushwacked
I'm almost willing to bet money that Lendale ends up on the Bangles, backing up Cedric Benson until he wears down. Seems like a match made in heaven! If the Rams were smart though, they'd snatch him up. They don't have much behind SJax. White had Julius Jones and Forsett as competition and he couldn't make it more than a few weeks through May mini-camps under his former college coach. Gotta think there is a good chance his NFL career might be over.

I don't think it's that White couldn't outplay or out perform Jones and Forsett, but he expected things to be handed to him, and wasn't putting in effort. I think he'll get a shot somewhere, but I do think he just blew his last chance to be anything more then a role player. could not disagree more. White will shine in Seattle. Wanna bet? bleacher
I agree that White seems to have blown a good opportunity with Seattle. He will have a tough time finding work after being released for a lack of effort. While he showed up 45 lbs less his physical conditioning was still poor. Lazy and out of shape are NOT good traits to have for a pro athlete looking for work.

Many players have bad attitudes, but organizations will generally keep them if they can benefit the team. Lendale White couldn't last more than a few offseason weeks with one of the worst RB cores in the league; it seems very likely there is more to this than just attitude. loaf
any truth to mock draft rumors that he failed a drug test with some THC showing up in his urine?
Perchoutofwater
I wouldn't mind seeing JJ trading Marion the Barbarian and then picking up Lendale. Won't happen, but I think it would be a prudent move to save some money, and try to get something for Marion while his stock is still somewhat high.
