kpholmes
Most people here are MFL, but I'm sure someone will find this useful. Thanks for posting
Scooby's Hubby
I think it is for new leagues only, but I may wrong. too bad, I had been a cbs customer since 1998, and have finally moved to mfl solely b/c of price. too late cbs.
OCSkins
Please pardon my ignorance, but what does MFL stand for? I've been using CBS for a long time and yeah, it's pretty expensive now.

Scooby's Hubby
I've used CBS since 2001 I think... I wish I could renew for that cheap... I love the site, but they have been going up every year. This will be my Invitational's first year with MFL. I was in a couple leagues with MFL last year and was satisfied. MFL is only 44.95 for CBS transfers this year. They want our business and CBS acts arrogant and should cut us loyal users a break. They lost me this year

LoLuck ... maybe try before you pay, you never know, they may extend a discount to you this year ... they should get back to you, let me know what they say, I am intrigued. eags
been using rtsports.com for years. love it. no pop up ads getting in your way every 2 seconds like cbs.
Ursa Majoris
If you're serious about FF, you use MFL. If you don't, you're not. IMO.

MFL nut huggers are correct about the price but CBS software is fine. Their player updates are pretty useless but I dont use them for that. If you spread the cost out over the amount of people in your league its about 12 bucks each or something like that . Ill take that to keep with a product I am familiar and satisfied with

MFL is for people who are at least a little computer savvy which these owners aren't (at all)...plus I'm not even sure if MFL can support my scoring system....because a few years ago, they didn't... I may not have been looking for what you were doing though either. put it this way....scoring for QB's is as followed... 200 pass yds = 10 pts; every 10 additional pass yds is 1pt every 2 rush/rec yds by a QB is 2pts pass TD's are worth 6-9 pts depending on the distance rush/rec tds are worth 9-12 pts depending on the distance -2pts for fum/int that's just for QB's... Pretty sure htey can do it, as I have utilized similar yardage scoring in a league (setting would be something along the lines of 0-199=0, 200=10, then IIRC there is a setting for every 10 yards above 200 =1 pt, easiest way is to e-mail their support to get sassistance to set it up). Distance TD is simple, they do that. negative points is standard. I;'d say they could do it, be half the price of CBS and you can customize your layout as you see fit for the home page. Not sure, but from what I hear, I would guess that rtsports could also do it.

whomper
$5 each for MFL. 'Nuff said. So I am not "serious about fantasy football" because our league members pay an extra 6-7 dollars each for the website we use ? Hogwash I tell you
Big Country
So I am not "serious about fantasy football" because our league members pay an extra 6-7 dollars each for the website we use ? Hogwash I tell you You may be serious, but you are just taking money out of the prize pool to use software that, while it works for your league, offers no real benefit over MFL, which in addition to offering enough for any standard league, has much greater capabilities for league settings and customization. So, even if you don't need the expanded capabilities, you are still paying double for the same product, with, from all I can gather, a much lower level quality of customer service. Unless of course you use CBS in the hopes that your leaguemates use their fantasy player (mis)information, then I salute your cunningness in the matter and would consider it an investment.
