Randall
With the release of S Daniel Bullocks on Thursday, the Lions no longer have any players remaining from the Matt Millen era. It's about time. Despite picking very early in most drafts Millen found a way to consistently miss with his draft picks. In his absence the Lions have picked Matthew Stafford, Louis Delmas, Ndamukong Suh. Suh hasn't seen the field yet while Stafford and Delmas only have one year under their belts. Still it's very easy to say the future looks much brighter in Detroit now that Millen's influence is nowhere to be found. BeeR
"About time?" ? It's not like he left 10 years ago. And I thought he was a good announcer, tho I don't recall seeing him lately.

I can't remember if it's ESPN or NFL Network, but I have seen him quite a few times on the NFL shows. I don't know if that is going to be permanent or if they are just trying him out during the "dead" time.

Scooby's Hubby
Now Lions fans will be coming out of the wood work, now unashamed. What will Detroit do with all those unused paper bags?

I'm not sure that I would call that "plenty." I believe that the OP was referring to the years 2002-06.
