j2v Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Minnesota Huddlers- We're in that brief window of opportunity between kids' sports seasons and the start of the football season, where traditionally we gather at an establishment to talk fantasy football. Anyone have any days/dates/times/venues they'd like to toss out for our consideration? We've met at Buffalo Wild Wings in West St. Paul (my home field, as it were) and at a BWW (I think) in Eagan as well. I'm open to other areas of the metro as well. Also, consider this a personal invitation to attend any of the other 2V events this preseason, including (but certainly not limited to) a St. John's alumni function August 9 at Champps in Maplewood; the KFAN fantasy football forum August 14 at Bar 508 in Minneapolis; at a St. Cloud area bar to be determined for the Granite City Cafe Fantasy Football Forum August 26; and at the Minnesota State Fair September 4 for a live broadcast of Fantasy Football Weekly. 2V Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SeductiveNun Posted July 19, 2010 Share Posted July 19, 2010 Seeing as how we had it in the west metro last year and the only people who showed were from the east metro, we should hold it on the Iron Range. There's a Champps in Maplewood that would work OK, there's also a Buffalo Wild Wings in Oakdale that would make it very easy for me, or we could do the West St. Paul location again (missed that one last time but it's fairly close for me as well). As for a day, as of right now my schedule is pretty open other than most weekends and I'll be gone the week of July 26-30. Looking forward to it again! I'm looking at the 16th-18th or 18th-20th. Our new offices are in the Wells Fargo building, so anything near there, or along a bus line from there would be great. ETA: Looks like the 18th-20th. If you plan to do it the night of the 20th, I'll fly back the following morning so I can be there. Let me know.
