Scooby's Hubby
I have heard of people in Florida and Kansas that fry carp. You had to be pretty desperate at one time to try Buffalo and/or Carp. Too bony but I hear the bones really dissolve/soften when fried. But I am too good to try the junk fish. As a matter of fact, I probably would just cut the line if I caught one of these rather than get the hook out.
Chief Dick
There are a lot of people here in the KC area that eat carp. I think in a lot of cases it's a plentiful food source for some who can't afford buying meat.

Jimmy Neutron
buffalo fish and carp are not the same thing. Maybe not, but they are close cousins. The Asian anglers in Utah would trade you a nice bass or trout for a carp. I've had it bbq'd - not too bad, but noth something I seek out either.
